In Tuesday's non-league test, the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC), by a score of 71-67.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) in a 4A Northern test, on Thursday, January 9. Millbrook will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 51-48 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).
