Utah High School Basketball - Cedar Valley fells Mountain Ridge

January 7, 2025: Herriman, UT 84096

The Cedar Valley Aviators basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Mountain Ridge Sentinels to 62 in the Aviators non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Aviators now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Orem for a 5A Region 7 game on Friday, January 10. Cedar Valley will confront a Tigers team coming off a 75-62 non-league loss to St. Michael's (Austin, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Mountain Ridge falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to confront the Mustangs in a 6A Region 2 game on Friday, January 10. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 12-1. Herriman won 62-61 in their recent non-league game against Juan Diego Catholic (Draper, UT)
