January 7, 2025: West Chester, PA 19380 The Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA) basketball crushed the host East Vikings (West Chester, PA), 67-36 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Whippets now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Avon Grove for a Ches-Mont - National bout on Thursday, January 9. Downingtown West will play a Red Devils team coming off a 41-39 non-league loss to Unionville (Kennett Square, PA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, East falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Henderson (West Chester, PA) to play the Warriors in a Ches-Mont - National bout on Thursday, January 9. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Henderson lost 67-49 in their recent league bout against Coatesville (Coatesville, PA)
