North Carolina High School Basketball - Salisbury triumphant over Lexington

January 7, 2025: Salisbury, NC 28144

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), observed Salisbury's basketball team overwhelm Lexington by a score of 75-42.

The Hornets (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets encounter the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina challenge, on Friday, January 10. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 75-69 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC).
