The Screven County Gamecocks bounced the host Claxton Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 73-21 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Gamecocks clash with the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 outing, on Friday, January 10. Screven County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Buccaneers enter the outing with a 6-8 record after their 39-33 league win over Savannah (Savannah, GA).
