In Tuesday's non-league test, the DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL), by a final score of 60-29.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Avon Park Red Devils (Avon Park, FL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. DeSoto County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the test with a 3-5 record after their 62-35 league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, FL).
