January 7, 2025: Mullins, SC 29574 Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Mullins Marion Christian Cavaliers (Mullins, SC), 52-8 in a league match.
With the victory, Christ the Cornerstone Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Defenders travel to Antioch Christian Academy (Lumberton, NC) to meet the Gators in a match on Thursday, January 9. The Gators enter the match with a record of 4-2. Antioch Christian Academy won 56-31 in their recent non-league match against Columbus Christian Academy (Whiteville, NC)
The Cavaliers now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandhills Classical Christian for a match on Friday, January 10. Mullins Marion Christian will meet a Lions squad coming off a 71-34 league loss to Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
