The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Union Colony Prep Timberwolves (Greeley, CO) and the visiting Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO), observed Union Colony Prep's basketball team edge Dawson School by a score of 54-50.

The Timberwolves (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO). The Golddiggers come into the 3A/2A/1A Mile High challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Clear Creek edged South Park (Fairplay, CO), 50-33, in a non-league challenge.
