In Wednesday's league contest, the host Wood Wildcats basketball team scored a big 100-15 triumph over the Sacramento Dragons.

The Wildcats (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Vikings go into the Monticello Empire League contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Vanden smashed Vacaville (Vacaville, CA), 76-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons confront the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) in a Monticello Empire League contest, on Friday, January 10. Sacramento will attempt to better on its 6-8 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 5-12 record after their 77-71 league loss to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA).
