In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Westlake Demons basketball team scored a close 37-32 triumph over the Buckeye Bucks.

The Demons (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Olmsted (North Olmsted, OH). The Eagles go into the Cleveland West contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, North Olmsted was tipped by Normandy (Parma, OH), 46-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bucks confront the Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH) in a Cleveland West contest, on Saturday, January 11. Buckeye will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 48-9 league loss to Bay (Bay Village, OH).
