Colorado High School Basketball - Weld Central nudges Eagle Ridge Academy

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) and the host Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors (Brighton, CO), observed Weld Central's basketball team edge Eagle Ridge Academy by a score of 43-39.

The Rebels (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bennett (Bennett, CO). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Bennett was tipped by Platte Valley (Kersey, CO), 49-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Forge Christian Fury (Arvada, CO) in a 4A/3A Metro challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Eagle Ridge Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Fury come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 44-19 non-league loss to Sterling (Sterling, CO).
