Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA), 58-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA) to play the Aztec Warriors in a Blossom Valley - West Valley bout on Thursday, January 11. The Aztec Warriors come into the bout with a record of 0-8.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Gunderson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 44-40 league win over San Jose (San Jose, CA).
