The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) and the host Arbor Prep Gators (Ypsilanti, MI), observed Hamady's basketball team overwhelm Arbor Prep by a score of 80-54.

The Hawks (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bentley (Burton, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Genesee Area - Red challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Bentley trounced Beecher (Flint, MI), 51-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Gators encounter the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets (Beverly Hills, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Arbor Prep will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
