Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host NCSSM: Morganton Dragons (Morganton, NC), 65-39 in a league match.

With the victory, Owen advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Warhorses host Avery County (Newland, NC) to face the Vikings in a 1A/2A Western Highlands match on Monday, January 13.
