The South Cobb Eagles basketball squad (Austell, GA), was nudged 76-71 in Thursday's league battle with the host Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA)

With the victory, Paulding County advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Patriots host McEachern (Powder Springs, GA) to meet the Indians in a AAAAAA Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 12-3. McEachern won 50-40 in their recent league battle against Campbell (Smyrna, GA)
