Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Pointe overwhelmed by Horizon

January 9, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85044

In Thursday's league test, the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball squad trounced the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), by a final score of 49-24.

Next, the Huskies clash with the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 13. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 47-25 league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ).

The Pride (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes come into the 5A East Sky test with a 11-3 record. In their last test, Campo Verde was overwhelmed by Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ), 54-53, in a league test.
