Maine High School Basketball - Poland victorious over Sacopee Valley
January 9, 2025: Cornish, ME 04041 In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Poland Knights basketball team scored a good 47-27 triumph over the Sacopee Valley Hawks.
The Knights (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers go into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Lake Region topped Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME), 45-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Richmond Bobcats (Richmond, ME) in a C South contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Sacopee Valley will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 45-35 league loss to Buckfield (Buckfield, ME).
