Texas High School Basketball - Waskom routed by Victory Prep
January 9, 2025: Houston, TX 77026 Victory Prep (Houston, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Waskom Wildcats (Waskom, TX), 49-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Victory Prep advances its record to 1-0 on the year.
The Wildcats now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garrison for a 2A Region III District 23 match on Friday, January 10. Waskom will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 53-41 league win over Joaquin (Joaquin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-7.
