October 1, 2022: Kenner, LA 70065 Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA), 35-6 in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bruins face the West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA) in a 5A District 8 bout, on Thursday, October 6. Bonnabel will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Buccaneers enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 51-13 non-league loss to Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA).
The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA). The Lions enter the 4A District 9 test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Booker T. Washington was defeated by Landry-Walker (New Orleans, LA), 12-6, in a non-league test.
