Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Bloomsburg held off by Sullivan County
October 1, 2022: Bloomsburg, PA 17815 In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Sullivan County Griffins soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Bloomsburg Panthers.
The Griffins (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Red Raiders come into the PIAA District IV-A battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Montgomery was nudged by Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA). The Lancers come into the Heartland II battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Loyalsock Township was nudged by Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
