Arizona High School Volleyball - Coronado overwhelmed by Cortez
October 2, 2023: Scottsdale, AZ 85257 In Monday's league battle, the visiting Cortez Colts volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Coronado Dons.
The Colts (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Demons come into the 4A - Black Canyon battle with a 5-11 record. In their last battle, Dysart lost by Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Dons encounter the Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ) in a 4A - Black Canyon battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Coronado will attempt to advance on its 0-10 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Cortez (Phoenix, AZ).
