In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Franklinton Red Rams football team scored a nice 16-6 win over the Knightdale Knights.

In their next game, the Red Rams play the Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) in a test, on Thursday, October 9. Franklinton will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 21-6 league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC).
