In Thursday's non-league game, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) football team were victorious over the host Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), by a score of 29-6.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 9. Union Pines will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 1-5 record after their 28-15 non-league loss to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC).
