California High School Volleyball - Venture Academy overwhelmed by River Islands

October 2, 2025: Stockton, CA 95206

River Islands Riptide (Lathrop, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, River Islands improves its record to 19-2 on the season. The Riptide host Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA) to meet the Bobcats in a Central California Athletic Alliance challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 19-4.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Turlock Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Venture Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Millennium (Tracy, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-16.
