October 3, 2023: Markesan, WI 53946 Markesan Hornets (Markesan, WI) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Rio Vikings (Rio, WI), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Hornets battle the Random Lake Rams (Random Lake, WI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 5. Markesan will attempt to advance on its 9-12 season record. The Rams come into the match with a 5-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Howards Grove (Howards Grove, WI).
With the loss, Rio drops to 6-15 on the campaign.
