California High School Volleyball - St. Paul can't hold off St. Genevieve
October 3, 2023: Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting St. Genevieve Valiants volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the St. Paul Swordsmen.
The Valiants (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against La Salle (Pasadena, CA). The Lancers come into the Camino Real battle with a 14-13 record. In their last battle, La Salle nudged Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Swordsmen clash with the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 4. St. Paul will attempt to advance on its 4-15 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 5-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA).
