October 3, 2024: Canton, MS 39046 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Lanier Bulldogs (Jackson, MS) and the host Canton Tigers (Canton, MS), observed Lanier's volleyball team top Canton by a count of 3-0.
The Bulldogs (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS). The Aggies enter the non-league contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Forrest County Agricultural notched a victory over Stone (Wiggins, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Tigers battle the Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Canton will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 10-27 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Kossuth (Kossuth, MS).
