Wisconsin High School Football - Elk Mound can't hold off Fall Creek
October 3, 2025: Elk Mound, WI 54739 Fall Creek Crickets (Fall Creek, WI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Elk Mound Mounders (Elk Mound, WI), 20-17 in a league test.
The Crickets now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Durand-Arkansaw for a Cloverbelt test on Friday, October 10. Fall Creek will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 49-0 league win over Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Elk Mound drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Mounders travel to Mondovi (Mondovi, WI) to play the Buffaloes in a Cloverbelt challenge on Friday, October 10. The Buffaloes go into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Mondovi lost 27-22 in their recent league challenge against Regis (Eau Claire, WI)
