October 4, 2022: Lafayette, LA 70506 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Sam Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) and the host Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA), saw Sam Houston's volleyball squad beat Lafayette by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Sam Houston upgrades its record to 18-3 on the year. The Broncos travel to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Barbe lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Sulphur (Sulphur, LA)
The Lions now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to New Iberia for a Division I District 2 bout on Thursday, October 6.
