Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Faith Christian Knights (Summerville, SC), 44-26 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Calhoun Academy advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Carolina Academy (Lake City, SC) to play the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 3-2. Carolina Academy lost 18-0 in their recent league battle against Williamsburg Academy (Kingstree, SC)

The Knights now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Beaufort Academy for a SCISA 1A Region II battle on Friday, October 11. Faith Christian will play a Eagles team coming off a 40-20 non-league loss to Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
