The Seaside (OR) varsity football team lost Friday's home conference game against Scappoose (OR) by a score of 26-22.
The Scappoose Indians football squad scored 26 points and limited the host Seaside Seagulls to 22 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Helens for a 4A Special District 1 test on Friday, October 11. Scappoose will meet a Lions squad coming off a 43-0 league loss to Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Lions record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Seaside drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Seagulls host Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR) to meet the Mustangs in a 4A Special District 1 test on Friday, October 11. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-3. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts won 48-8 in their recent league test against Astoria (Astoria, OR)
