Maryland High School Football - South River thwarted by Northeast
October 4, 2024: Edgewater, MD 21037 Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD), 22-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Northeast advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles host Severna Park (Severna Park, MD) to play the Falcons in a battle on Monday, October 14. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Severna Park lost 35-0 in their recent non-league battle against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD)
The Seahawks now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Chesapeake for a non-league battle on Monday, October 14. South River will play a Cougars team coming off a 38-33 non-league loss to Arundel (Gambrills, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
