Virginia High School Soccer - Miller School of Albemarle toppled by Blue Ridge Christian
October 4, 2024: Bridgewater, VA 22812 Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Blue Ridge Christian moves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Regents (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Lions in a VACA test on Monday, October 7. The Lions come into the test with a record of 4-2. Regents won 8-1 in their recent non-league test against Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA)
The Mavericks now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boys' Home for a non-league test on Monday, October 7. Miller School of Albemarle will clash with a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 0-2.
