The Normal University Pioneers were victorious over the host Tri-Valley Vikings volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Pioneers now have a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mattoon for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Normal University will play a Greenwave team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Greenwave record now stands at 11-14.

With the loss, Tri-Valley drops to 14-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bloomington (Bloomington, IL) to play the Purple Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4.
