New Mexico High School Soccer - Albuquerque Academy knocks off Bernalillo
October 5, 2023: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 10-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Chargers confront the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM).
The Spartans now possess a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley for a 4A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, October 10. Bernalillo will confront a Vikings team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 2-11.
