South Carolina High School Football - Lakewood victorious over Lake City
October 6, 2023: Sumter, SC 29150 In Friday's league match, the host Lakewood Gators football squad scored a good 22-8 victory over the Lake City Panthers.
In their next game, the Gators clash with the Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) in a AAA Region 6 match, on Friday, October 13. Lakewood will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 56-0 league loss to Crestwood (Sumter, SC).
With the loss, Lake City drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC) to battle the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 6 test on Friday, October 20. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-4.
