October 6, 2023: Nixon, TX 78140 The Cole Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Nixon-Smiley Mustangs to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now possess a 11-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host Great Hearts Northern Oaks for a 3A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, October 10. Cole will meet a Griffins team coming off a 3-1 league win over Luling (Luling, TX). The Griffins record now stands at 5-6.
The Mustangs (8-16) will now prepare for their game against Luling (Luling, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region IV District 26 game with a 13-12 record.
