Colorado High School Football - Durango can't hold off Aztec
October 6, 2025: Durango, CO 81301 The Aztec Tigers held off the host Durango Demons football squad by a count of 30-28 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taos for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. Aztec will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 46-12 non-league loss to Raton (Raton, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
The Demons (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Grand Junction nipped Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO), 37-7, in a non-league challenge.
