In Monday's non-league test, the Parkway West Longhorns (Ballwin, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the host Northwest Lions (Cedar Hill, MO), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Longhorns meet the Rockwood Summit Falcons (Fenton, MO) in a Class 4 District 3 test, on Tuesday, October 7. Parkway West will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record.

The Lions (7-14) will now prepare for their test against Eureka (Eureka, MO). The Wildcats go into the Class 4 District 4 test with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Eureka beat Parkway Central (Chesterfield, MO), 9-2, in a non-league outing.
