The North Central Knights football team (Kershaw, SC), was tipped 40-38 in Friday's league challenge with the host Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC)

The Yellowjackets (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Golden Rams come into the AA Region 5 challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Chesterfield was tipped by Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC), 65-14, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Cheraw for a AA Region 5 challenge on Friday, October 14. North Central will meet a Braves team coming off a 26-19 league win over Central (Pageland, SC). The Braves record now stands at 2-5.
