October 7, 2023: Bloomfield, IA 52537 The Van Buren County Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Davis County Mustangs to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.
The Warriors now have a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chariton for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Van Buren County will meet a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Chargers record now stands at 9-10.
The Mustangs (11-22) will now prepare for their game against Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Big Reds/Redettes enter the South Central game with a 9-10 record. In their last game, Centerville dropped by Knoxville (Knoxville, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
