Virginia High School Soccer - Bishop O'Connell nudges St. John's
October 8, 2024: Arlington, VA 22213 In Tuesday's league outing, the host Bishop O'Connell Knights soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the St. John's Cadets.
The Knights (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Mustangs go into the Washington Catholic (WCAC) outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Bishop McNamara got by Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA), 6-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cadets confront the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 10. St. John's will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Wolves go into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 0-0 non-league Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC).
