Maryland High School Soccer - Northwestern knocks off Wise
October 8, 2024: Hyattsville, MD 20782 The Northwestern Wildcats soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Wise Pumas to 1 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Laurel for a Prince George's County 4A bout on Thursday, October 10. Northwestern will play a Spartans squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Wise moves to 1-7 on the year. The Pumas travel to Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Prince George's County 4A bout on Thursday, October 10. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Bladensburg won 5-2 in their recent league bout against Laurel (Laurel, MD)
