In Thursday's non-league match, the host Cedar Creek Pirates football squad scored a decisive 42-0 triumph over the Lower Cape May Tigers.

The Pirates (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ). The Chargers go into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record.

The Tigers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Cumberland for a West Jersey - Liberty battle on Friday, October 17. Lower Cape May will play a Colts team coming off a 27-6 non-league win over Deptford (Deptford, NJ). The Colts record now stands at 5-2.
