Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE), 13-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Lincoln Northeast upgrades its record to 9-18 on the year. The Rockets travel to Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to confront the Chieftains in a A District match on Thursday, October 2. The Chieftains come into the match with a record of 20-9. Bellevue East won 12-1 in their recent league match against Omaha North (Omaha, NE)

In their next game, the Bears confront the Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE) in a A District match, on Thursday, October 2. Bryan will attempt to better on its 5-21 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 4-16 record after their 8-7 league loss to Benson (Omaha, NE).
