The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Corvian Community Cardinals to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Patriots now possess a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sugar Creek Charter for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game on Thursday, October 2. Piedmont Community Charter will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-12.
