Michigan High School Volleyball - Mattawan overwhelmed by Portage Central

Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Portage Central advances its record to 14-14 on the season. The Mustangs host Stevenson (Livonia, MI) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 13-8. Stevenson won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Glenn (Westland, MI)

Next, the Wildcats play the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 8. Mattawan will attempt to upgrade on its 17-11 season record. The Maroon Giants come into the challenge with a 7-16 record after their 3-0 league win over Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI).
