North Carolina High School Volleyball - Piedmont bounced by Sun Valley

The Piedmont Panthers volleyball squad (Monroe, NC), dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC)

The Spartans (17-11) will now prepare for their contest against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks enter the Southern Carolina 6A/7A contest with a 23-2 record. In their last contest, Marvin Ridge notched a victory over Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A battle, on Tuesday, October 7. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
