The North Brunswick Scorpions got by the host New Hanover Wildcats football team by a score of 28-27 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Scorpions play the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. North Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 47-20 non-league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC).

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers go into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Laney nipped West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 47-20, in a non-league challenge.
