The Austintown-Fitch Falcons football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting McDowell Trojans to 12 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boardman for a All-American test on Friday, October 17. Austintown-Fitch will face a Spartans team coming off a 42-0 league win over Howland (Warren, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 4-4.

The Trojans (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH). The Big Red enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Steubenville ran past Canisius (Buffalo, NY), 35-34, in a non-league challenge.
